- Design and build a scalable and sustainable community-based SLP program.
- Develop policies, clinical pathways, documentation templates, and referral guidelines.
- Provide input on staffing models, service delivery methods, and outcome tracking.
- Train and mentor team members on SLP best practices.
- Provide occasional in-home speech-language assessments and therapy to clients.
- Document clinical encounters and communicate care plans effectively with inter-professional teams.
- Support quality improvement and evidence-informed care in direct service delivery.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Registration and in good standing with CASLPO
- Minimum 5 years of clinical SLP experience (community experience is an asset)
- Experience in program development, clinical leadership, or healthcare consulting is a strong asset
- Must have access to a vehicle and be able to travel for home visits when required

We are looking for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Mississauga to help build our SLP program and we are seeking a highly motivated and strategic SLP Consultant to lead this initiative. This is a 6 month contract.
The SLP Consultant will play a critical role in designing and implementing a comprehensive SLP program for community-based care. This includes establishing protocols, supporting operational planning, and mentoring staff as the program grows. The consultant may also provide occasional direct clinical services to clients in their homes, ensuring best practices in assessment and treatment.
