Reporting to the Director of Supply Management, you will play a key role in managing the purchasing of goods for stores and distribution centers. You are responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels to support operations and meet financial objectives

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Place replenishment purchase orders with suppliers based on system-generated requirements or manual analysis when required
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels to meet service level objectives while aligning with financial targets (turnover, coverage and obsolescence)
  • Monitor open orders and proactively follow up with suppliers to resolve late deliveries impacting service level.
  • Analyze exception reports to apply correction on sales forecast and some replenishment parameters.
  • Maintain parameters in the replenishment system.
  • Communicate regularly with market manager responsible for strategic relationship with suppliers to ensure alignment on stock availability, projects and specific action related to suppliers
  • Maintain strong relationship and good communication with operation managers of DC and corporate stores.

Qualifications

To join our team, you need, among other things:

  • Degree in supply chain, mathematics, administration or other relevant field with minimum two (2) years' experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English. As part of your duties, you will routinely collaborate with internal customers across Canada.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and ERP systems.
  • Ability to perform under pressure, autonomy and strong working organization.
