- Be a resource for Managers regarding health and safety
- Manages the full cycle recruitment efforts
- Conducts new hire orientation
- Manages all front line staff leaves of absence including requests, processing documentation and monitoring timelines
- Supports HR Manager as needed in managing employee relations complaints/grievances
- Acts as a resource for managers and supports managers in applying the performance management and progressive discipline policy
- Following completion of performance appraisals from Supervisors, update date in electronic file and confirm documentation
- Run reports from learning management system to record compliance for employee file purposes
- Ensures staff complete mandatory training as required
- Facilitates branch transfers (updated employment letters/agreements, update to Procura, coordination etc)
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years progressive experience in a Human Resources role
- Minimum 1-2 years in an HR Generalist role
- Experience working in a unionized environment an asset
- Post-secondary degree, diploma or certification in Human Resources Management
- CHRP in progress or completed
