We are seeking a visionary Director of Design to lead our design team in the creation and execution of seasonal collections that are aligned with our brand identity, market trends, and customer needs. This role is responsible for the creative direction and overall design aesthetic across product categories. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, an inspiring leader, and a hands-on designer with a deep understanding of the women's fashion market.

How you will support the team:

  • Creative Direction:
    • Develop and lead the seasonal design vision and product strategy in alignment with brand DNA and business goals.
    • Ensure consistency in design language, fit, color, fabric, and quality across all collections.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration:
    • Manage, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of designers, fostering creativity, collaboration, and professional growth.
    • Partner closely with Merchandising, Product Development, and Production teams to ensure designs are commercially viable and aligned with timelines and cost objectives.
  • Market & Trend Analysis:
    • Conduct market research and analyze global trends, customer insights, and competitive landscapes to inform and inspire product direction.
    • Attend trade shows and fashion events to source inspiration, fabrics, and trims.
  • Process Management:
    • Oversee the design calendar to ensure all deadlines are met and collection milestones are achieved.
    • Approve final designs, technical sketches, and prototypes before handoff to Product Development.

Qualifications

Those who thrive with us have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive design experience in the women's fashion industry, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing successful collections that resonate with the customer and drive commercial results.
  • Strong sense of style, trend awareness, and deep knowledge of garment construction and fit.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, PLM systems, and fashion illustration.
