UAP Inc. is looking to expand their technician team by adding a technician to support the automated warehouse system of their Cambridge facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key activities:
- Conduct maintenance activities on installed systems to ensure consistent functionality and reliability.
- Oversee maintenance operations and efficiently manage spare parts inventory to improve operational efficiency.
- Accurately document all technical team activities within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Deliver prompt and effective support to the operations team, emphasizing a "right first time" approach.
- Participate in regular operations meetings and provide emergency maintenance support when required.
- Address maintenance concerns proactively and manage internal escalation procedures professionally.
- Monitor and optimize on-site maintenance processes, including response times and compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with the operations team to maintain and enhance optimal system performance.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Technical diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Automation disciplines.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Knowledge of industrial automation, including sensor technologies and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
- Experience in performing routine maintenance and commissioning of mechatronic systems.
- Familiarity with CMMS tools and a solid understanding of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) metrics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on optimizing automated system performance.
