Working out of our Distribution Center, you will work closely with Supervisors, the Customer Service team, and the Warehouse Manager to establish a smooth transition in our receiving department. You will also assist in ensuring we have the correct part, correct warehouse pack, and correct quantity, along with the part bearing a scannable bar code.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Verify receptions, packing slips, purchase orders (PO), and variances.
  • Scan all related inbound documents and send Purolator daily to Head Office.
  • Work closely with our Customer Service team on special orders.
  • Work with support teams if any issues arise.
  • Act as a point of contact for warehouse employees concerning any reception/defect discrepancies.
  • Provide clerical support to supervisors in their reports.
  • Coordination of transports for delivery using the program Appointments PLUS
  • Be in constant contact with carriers for any issues that arise and ensure they follow our policies.
  • Issue credits where applicable.

Qualifications

To join our team, you need:

  • Training in office automation or accounting
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Power point
  • Knowledge of Warehouse management system (WMS) a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Ability to work with little supervision
