A Grab & Go Barista has a passion for customer service and is able to greet, prepare food & beverages, serve, and cash out guests with a smile. An ability to work independently and as part of a team is important while creating an exceptional experience for all. Our Grab & Go Attendants/Baristas are fanatical about cleanliness and pay close attention to detail.

The Day to Day:

  • Create a positive guest experience through interaction and adherence to the steps of service
  • Answer questions and make recommendations on food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services
  • Prepare cold and hot beverages to standard
  • Ensure accuracy when entering information into the POS system
  • Monitor food quality and presentation standards
  • Ensure guests are satisfied with their food and service
  • Respond promptly and courteously to any guest request or concern
  • Monitor the cleanliness of grab & go area and ensure all materials and areas are clean and free from clutter
  • Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing grab & go products
  • Be aware of any special requests, inclusive of guest allergies
  • Complete opening, closing and side-duties efficiently and safely
  • Follow all food safety standards and systems
  • Other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications
  • 2 years barista experience required
  • High School Diploma
  • High attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Passionate about customer service
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Organizational skills and sales ability
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to engage our guests
  • Experience in a similar environment an asset
