Cadel, Canada's leading distributor of parts and accessories for diesel engine and heavy equipment markets is currently seeking a Bilingual (EN/FR) Customer Service Specialist for our Mississauga, Ontario office.

Our customer service team take pride in providing excellent service and they have strong knowledge of various parts and equipment. They offer advice, support, are friendly, resourceful, and have excellent product knowledge!

In this key role, you will:

  • Process orders and respond to customer inquiries in a courteous and professional manner by phone and email (high volume)
  • Manage product returns, providing all appropriate information to ensure a smooth and accurate process
  • Respond to customer inquires by looking up parts, inventory levels, pricing, etc. via the WMS; while keeping a record of any lost sales and the reasons
  • Work closely with the management and sales team to drive efficiencies, ensure policies are upheld, and improve business processes in order to meet growing market demands
  • Become a product and solutions expert! We will equip you to answer product, pricing and shipping questions quickly and confidently
  • Develop long term, productive relationships with customers to respond to and anticipate their needs including upselling relevant products
  • Special projects and all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

To join our team, you need:

  • Ability to communicate in both English and French, written and verbally, as you will be speaking to customers and colleagues across Canada
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service role, or similar
  • Strong sense of organization and excellent customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate-level knowledge)
  • Ability to effectively address customer concerns and diffuse situations as they occur
  • Knowledge of the heavy vehicle parts market or relevant experience is considered an asset
