How You'll Make an Impact:

• Manage daily operations of food service/catering, housekeeping, environmental services including maintenance in this busy hospitality setting
• Manage financials including labour cost, supply cost, inventory, equipment and materials
• Supervise, mentor, and monitor site team and evaluate performance to ensure a high level of productivity and the best use of team member capabilities
• Establish operating standards, implement quality improvements
• Oversee catering functions, special events and projects for internal and external clients/ groups
• Establish and maintain business relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Constant analysis of the support services program; identifying efficiencies and areas of opportunity within our operations
• Meet and collaborate with client initiatives to progress agreed upon efforts and provide feedback
• Ensure compliance of all Company standards, safety requirements and Provincial/Federal Legislation
• Ensure compliance to all Food Safety, Food System Management and HACCP Policies and Procedures

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• 5 years' experience in a hospitality setting managing food and environmental services as well as general maintenance
• Excellent customer service skills and staff management/leadership skills
• Business Diploma or Degree is a strong asset or Hospitality Management
• Knowledge of industry standards and Legislative Policies and Procedures
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, team-centric and safety driven environment
• Proven organizational skills and strong computer capabilities including Microsoft Office use
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers, clients and staff at all levels
• Ability to work, problem solve and provide solutions independently
• Genuine desire to provide customer service experiences beyond expectations
• A passion for customer service and for people
