The AME will be reporting to the Chief Engineer and his duties include:

  • Planning and performing aircraft maintenance;
  • Ensuring that all replacement parts are inspected and properly certified prior to installation;
  • Assuring compliance with all company policies and procedures;
  • Organizing and housekeeping of the hangar facility;
  • Travelling to various work locations and environments as required;
  • Performing related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications
  • Must hold a valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 AME licence;
  • Must hold the authorization to work in Canada, this position is not available for sponsorship;
  • Must hold Bell 212 and/or 412 Aircraft Certification Authority (ACA);
  • Hold a B206 & AS350B2/B3 ACA is an asset;
  • Organized and self-starter;
  • Customer focus and team player;
  • Good communication skills and positive attitude;
  • Must live in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL or be willing to relocate to the area;
  • Be able to obtain access to controlled goods approval.
