  • New Brunswick Region Pay Range Information:
    The expected base salary range for this position is $19.89 to $24.48. Placement in the salary range will be based on relevant job-related factors like candidate experience, education, skills and qualifications.
  • Ontario Region Pay Range Information:
    The expected base salary range for this position is $21.88 to $27.03. Placement in the salary range will be based on relevant job-related factors like candidate experience, education, skills and qualifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Human Resources Co-op Student will play a key role in the administration and coordination of day-to-day Human Resources processes and activities. The primary focus of this role is to improve and streamline Human Resource processes, as well as expanding the Human Resources knowledge and experience of the Human Resources student.
HR Process Support
Support key HR and employee experience-impacting processes with the support of the Manager, Human Resources, and the Human Resources Coordinator (onboarding, off-boarding, scholarships, Connected, etc.)
Identify and develop process improvements and work instructions with a continuous improvement and efficiency mindset
HR Systems Administration and Reporting
Conduct routine transactions using our HR system (HCM) for job changes, terminations, etc.
Run regular and ad-hoc reports, as requested
Special Projects
Assist with and take ownership of key projects in Human Resources operations and Organizational Development
Completion, implementation, and presentation of a term-length project
Other duties as assigned may include
Coordination of meetings, training sessions, and events
Drafting and communication of organizational announcements, including arrivals, transfers, and new and recurring initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Enrollment in College or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
  • Good academic standing required
  • Completion of one prior internship/work term in a Human Resources or Business-related required
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of HRIS Systems; experience with Oracle tools considered an asset.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Goal-oriented with excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
