JOB DESCRIPTION
Midland Transport is currently seeking a full-time Hours of Service Auditor based out of Head Office in Dieppe, NB. The selected candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a "Can Do" attitude.
The Hours of Service Auditor will be responsible for collecting and processing driver data from multiple sources to provide a holistic view of hours-of-service compliance and driver performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Compile and organize audit reports for driver logbooks.
• Review drivers electronic and paper log sheets, identity discrepancies or violations.
• Correct log entries based on audit findings and driver feedback.
• Follow up with the drivers on the results of the audit findings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with drivers to confirm corrections and resolve outstanding issues.
• Coach and train drivers in hours-of-service regulations.
• Conduct regular audits of DVIRs to verify proper completion.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Education Required: Minimum High School or College Diploma.
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience in transportation industry.
• Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong ability to think outside the box.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to communicate in French would be considered an asset.
