JOB DESCRIPTION
As an Intermediate Supply Chain Analyst, you are responsible for overseeing material planning and inventory activities to ensure the efficient flow of materials throughout the supply chain and to ensure material availability within the supply chain. This role involves developing and implementing short-term strategic initiatives, collaborating with functional teams, as well as optimizing inventory levels to meet production schedules and customer demand. The role assists in the development of plans, processes, presentations, and procedures as required in the execution of project delivery activities and in support of project milestones.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze complex variables to identify root causes and determine corrective actions, particularly for high-budget, long-lead materials.
  • Aggregate demand requirements and assign supply priorities to support material availability across operations.
  • Generate routine reports to proactively detect and resolve issues; maintain system data integrity and track key performance indicators.
  • Execute strategic material planning initiatives and improvement projects, ensuring timely and budget-aligned delivery.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, logistics, and planning teams to drive zero-late and zero-defect performance.
  • Represent the Materials team in departmental meetings, providing regular updates on material performance and issue resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post secondary degree in business administration, engineering, or related disciplines preferred
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Professional certifications (CITT, SCMP, P.Log, PMP, etc.) are an asset
  • Professional level knowledge of Supply Chain and Inventory Management
