JOB DESCRIPTION
Cavendish Farms is currently hiring Temporary Fall Potato Quality Checkers for our fall harvest season. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team in a hands-on, fast-paced outdoor work environment.

• Hourly Wage : $21.06/hr
• Schedule: 7 days a week, 10-14 hours per day
• Start Date: September 2025
• Duration: 4-6 weeks (with possibility of extension)
• Work Environment: Outdoor work

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Visually inspect potato batches for defects or irregularities
• Conduct tactile assessments to check firmness and freshness
• Verify size consistency across samples
• Ensure potatoes meet standards for uniform color and are free from blemishes
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and report any quality issues promptly

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
• Attention to detail and strong observational skills
• Willingness to work long hours, including weekends
• Previous experience in a similar role or agricultural setting is an asset but not required
