JOB DESCRIPTION
As a White Glove Appliance Delivery Driver, you will be a part of the team that provides above and beyond delivery and installation services for our customers displaying the highest standards of safety and excellent customer service. This job can be physically demanding.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Delivery and installation and setup of appliances, requiring extra care and attention to detail
- Loading, unloading, and securing appliances in the delivery vehicle
- Using protective packaging to prevent damage during transit
- Following routes and time schedules efficiently
- Setup/Assemble and adjusting appliances
- Ensuring appliances are in proper working order before leaving the customer's premises
- Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor throughout the delivery process
- Removing packaging materials and potentially old appliances
- Following safety protocols and guidelines
- May require overnights from time to time - Deliveries from Sydney to Yarmouth
QUALIFICATIONS
- Possessing strong physical capabilities to lift and carry heavy, including up stairs
- Proven work experience as a delivery driver
- Hand tool skills
- Understanding of Installing Appliances
- Valid driver's license class 5, Class 3 preferred, and an acceptable drivers abstract
- Ability to work in all weather conditions, fast-paced, and dynamic workplace
- Self-motivated, punctual, reliable, and safety oriented
- Effective written and oral communication skills (Bilingual English/French will be considered an asset)
