JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Sales Manager at Sunbury Transport, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth, fostering relationships with existing clients while pursuing new business opportunities, analyzing market trends and customer needs and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and drive product development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management to provide insights
- Drive the expansion and optimization of Sunbury's freight brokerage and solutions center/business.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Analytical and strategic thinking abilities to drive business growth and identify opportunities for revenue generation.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools is a plus.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
