JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join our team as our Shipper/Receiver, this position also includes a delivery component.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Load, unload, and sort packages
- Check shipped materials for damage and process defective product.
- Receive, move, and arrange materials in shipping/receiving areas.
- Filling out shipping labels
- Deliver parts.
- Transport and handle dangerous goods.
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
- Maintain daily vehicle logs
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Foster a safe work environment
QUALIFICATIONS
- Possess excellent customer service skills
- High attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driver's abstract wit no driving complaints
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Delivery experience is an asset
- Warehouse experience is an asset
- Bilingualism would be an asset

Universal Truck and Trailer is Atlantic Canada's largest heavy-duty truck dealership featuring the most up-to-date dealer service bays in Southern New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. We are an authorized sales, service, parts and warranty dealership for premium products Freightliner and Western Star Trucks. In addition, we service most makes and models for class 6, 7, and 8 vehicles, including luxury class RVs. We focus on exceeding customer requirements through continuously developing our team and building technical capabilities.
