JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a motivated student with an interest in analytics and process improvement to join us for a summer 2025 work term.
Location: Wheatley, Ontario

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learn and understand the manufacturing process of appetizers
- Collect and analyze input and output data of waste recovery
- Assist in providing recommendations on new and current waste recover processes and purchase solutions
- Work with corporate engineers, maintenance, raw procurement and other internal teams
- Other duties as required to support the business
QUALIFICATIONS
- Perusing post secondary education: Preference to those studying engineering and who have either completed two years of their post secondary education or have previously completed a work term
- Demonstrated ability to collect and analyze data and provide business recommendations
- An interest in continuous improvement and ability to provide process improvement recommendations
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Understanding of or ability to learn manufacturing systems such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) and PI Corsight
