Job Description:

Lobster PEI is looking for a summer student to join our team as a Brand Ambassador/ Marketing Assistant.

Duties include:

• Exhibiting at island events promoting the lobster industry
• Taking photos and videos to be used for marketing
• Assisting with content creation for social media and web
• Conducting market research
• Assisting with event planning and other marketing projects
• Other duties as required

The successful applicant should:

• Have a valid drivers licence and own transportation
• Have some post secondary education in business, marketing, and/or tourism
• Enjoy interacting with the public
• Interest and knowledge of the lobster sector considered an asset but not required
• Be reliable and dependable
• Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident legally entitled to work in Canada
• Must be between the ages of 15-30 at the start of employment
