Propane Delivery Associate

Job Description:

We are currently accepting applications for the permanent, full time position of Propane Delivery Associate for Spring Valley Building Centre. Applicants must have excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as maintain a professional attitude. Propane Associates are the key liaison between customers and the Propane Department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Foster a collaborative environment that prioritizes customer satisfaction and operational excellence
• Comply with road rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Load, transport and unload propane tanks from Spring Valley Building Centre to various locations across the Island
• Maintain records of pickup and deliveries
• Maintain and refurbish propane tanks
• Other duties as assigned

Training and experience:

• No recent moving or driving violations
• Must possess a clean Drivers Abstract

Appropriate license & training will be provided

Skills, Knowledge and Key Abilities:

• Organized, personable, and an excellent communicator
• Customer Service oriented
• Knowledge of the Island
• Ability to lift over 75lbs

What we offer:

• $17 – $20 / hour. Negotiable based on experience.
