Position Overview

DME is seeking motivated Production Labourers to join our production team. This position supports the manufacturing process through the fit-up, grinding, polishing, and handling of stainless-steel components and process equipment in a fast-paced, safety-sensitive environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication; however, training will be provided to individuals with strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn.

Reporting to the Production Team Lead, the Production Labourer will support various areas of production while maintaining quality workmanship and safe work practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform fit-up, grinding, and polishing of stainless-steel products and components
• Operate hand tools and production equipment safely and efficiently
• Support fabrication and production activities across multiple departments
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
• Perform material handling and general labour duties as required
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Assist with housekeeping and organization of the production facility
• Meet production timelines and daily work expectations
• Lift and handle materials weighing up to 100lbs when required
• Support other production activities as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication considered an asset
• Experience using hand tools and power tools considered an asset
• Experience with stainless steel grinding and polishing considered an asset
