Description:
To provide our guests and staff with a safe and memorable experience by being able to offer professional aid as required on the mountain.
Essential Functions:
- Provide front line interaction with our summer guests.
- Administer first aid on the mountain.
- Maintain accurate recording of all accident information as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Mark, sign, open, close, all bike trails as required to ensure that safe trail conditions are present.
- Build, maintain and repair trails as required.
- Provide first aid for on-mountain bike events.
- Increase mountain bike safety awareness by patrolling the bike park daily.
- Work closely with trail crew and communicate any unsafe trail conditions.
- Assist other departments as required.
- Perform lift evacuation as required.
- Perform other duties as required.
Experience/Requirements:
- Minimum level 3 OFA
- Excellent risk management skills
- Previous experience (ski/bike patrol)
- Able to work well in a team environment.
- Must be well spoken and able to interact with guests well.
- Must have a valid driver license.
- Lift evacuation experience (we will train)
- Pay Type Hourly
- Employment Indicator Seasonal
- Min Hiring Rate $19.50
- Max Hiring Rate $24.00
