Position Summary

Develop high performance control systems for new sensor technology used as part of neurophysiological observation and treatment.

Integration and synchronization of neuro-stimulus systems with sensor apparatus to enable researchers and clinicians to perform diagnostic observation and assessment of human neurophysical disease.

Apply your deep understanding of ultra-low noise amplification and signal processing techniques to achieve rapid and high quality bio-potential and bio-magnetic data collection.

Implement novel hardware based environmental noise suppression methods utilizing advanced electromagnetic shielding systems.

Broad understanding of safety factors and standards in the use of medical instrumentation for human use.

Requisites

University degree in engineering with a minimum of 5 years of direct experience in the design of neurophysical sensing instruments.

Demonstrated ability to design ultra-low noise sensor amplification and control techniques.

Deep understanding of signal conversion and low latency communication utilizing programmable logic device based system architecture.

Demonstrated understanding and application of recognized safety standards applicable to electro-medical instrumentation for human use.

Some international travel will be required to participate in instrument testing and qualification.

Fluency in spoken English and demonstrated capability in preparation of technical documentation for internal records and communication, user manuals, as well as submissions to regulatory authorities in multiple jurisdictions globally.
