Our client, an industry leader for over 20 years, is seeking an experienced and driven Accounting Manager for their growing team!
They are looking for a self-starter who will play a crucial role in managing accounting functions. The role is open due to a retirement, and they are looking forward to bringing new talent onboard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Full ownership of the accounting department, including financial planning and analysis.
- Supervising accounting and finance operations, encompassing Payroll, AP/AR, GL, preparation of financial statements, and managing banking systems.
- Becoming an active member of the client's management committee.
- Spearheading the annual budgeting process and guaranteeing adherence to financial regulations.
- Engaging with external stakeholders, including financial advisors and regulatory bodies, to maintain compliance and foster collaboration.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in a full-cycle accounting role, managing a team.
- CPA designation is nice to have.
- Proficiency with ERP software and advanced knowledge of Excel.
