Education:

Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Tasks:

1. Load, unload, and transport construction materials
2. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring, and barricades
3. Mix, pour, and spread materials
4. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
5. Level earth to fine grade specifications
6. Assist in demolishing buildings
7. Clean and pile salvaged materials
8. Perform routine maintenance work
9. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
10. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
11. Read and interpret blueprints

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

Fast-paced environment, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Weight handling

Up to 23 kg (50 lbs), Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Own Tools/Equipment:

Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles, Gloves, Cellular phone
