About Us

The uranium produced at Cigar Lake is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power.

The Role

In this role, you will:

  1. Assist the maintenance engineering department with various tasks, including drafting mechanical equipment and installations using various CAD packages
  2. Perform mechanical design tasks under the guidance of the maintenance engineers
  3. Assist with equipment inspections and field tests
  4. Prepare reports as required to propose solutions to engineering problems
  5. Assist with a variety of projects and other day-to-day activities

The successful candidate will work a term of approximately four months (May to August 2024).

Required:

You will be entering your third or fourth year as a university student in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field

Demonstrate resolute attitude towards safety

Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
