Position: BI/Reporting Developer
Location: Onsite in Richmond Hill, ON

The Amico group of companies is looking to fill the on-site role of BI/Reporting Developer. To join our growing team, please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. We look forward to reviewing your resume.

Responsibilities

  • Develops new reports and maintains/enhances existing reports using SSRS, Crystal reports, Power BI and other BI tools
  • Must be proficient in MS SQL, MS Access and Excel
  • Performs tasks and duties related to ad hoc and repetitive report analysis, design and processing
  • Interfaces with users to gather and define requirements, author concise functional/technical documentation and provide status and project updates
  • Provides user training in BI reporting tools and reports as needed
  • May act as project coordinator on key projects
  • Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
  • Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
  • Coordinate with the developers about maintaining & improving internal databases
  • Responsible for building & improving insightful & interactive tools & reports as per business requirements with a view to sustainability/repeatability

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience

Demonstrated work experience (5 years) in the following technologies is required:

  • SQL Server Reporting Services
  • SQL Server Development
  • Crystal Reports
  • SQL Server Integration Services
  • Microsoft Access
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Power BI

Demonstrated work experience with the following technologies would be an asset:

  • SQL Server Analysis Services
  • Azure DevOps

Must be fluent in English
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be a self-starter and team player
