Job Description

Our Vancouver office is searching for an Architectural Graduate to join its growing team. Our Global Architecture & Urbanism Division combines the expertise of IBI's Buildings and Placemaking practice, our Places' capabilities, and CRTKL's multi-sector design leadership to offer a diverse range of solutions focusing on human-centric design, sustainability, and technology. The Architectural Graduate will assist PMs and project team for multiple project tasks including but not limited to design development, construction documentation and construction admin phase.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Prepare design and working drawings for a variety of projects in Revit
  • Prepare documents through Design Development, Building Permit and Tender
  • Assist with feasibility studies
  • Work closely with the Project Architect and the project team
  • Coordinate with other architectural and engineering disciplines as well as external consultants to prepare high quality coordinated documents
  • Work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Keep up to date on construction practices, products, codes, and technologies
Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Graduate from a recognized Architectural Graduate Program (Bachelor or Masters degree) or Architectural TechnologistProgram (Diploma)
  • 5+ years experience in an architectural firm working on high-rise residential projects preferred
  • Experience running working drawing and Contract Administration phases preferred
  • Proficiency inRevit, AutoCAD and SketchUp
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Well organized with good interpersonal skills

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $75,000 per year commensurate with experience.
