While the role is heavily data driven, it will require a task approach at times and a proactive approach for other areas. Your day-to-day will involve…*Day-to-Day Tasks:** Maintaining data accuracy by entering, updating, editing and deleting items from the Company's database* Reviewing reports for outstanding purchase orders & Back-order fulfillment* Investigating purchase order discrepancies* Investigating pricing discrepancies* Using an EDI order processing system to understand movement of product* Reviewing product sku sales volume and adjust minimum quantities required* Liaising with the Accounting department to follow up on vendor credits* Various other Administrative functions.* Data entry accuracy* Communicating directly with the vendor (LG, Whirlpool, Electroix, etc.) on a daily basis* Placing product orders* Following up with vendors for product order status'* Working with vendors to expedite orders.* Keeping our vendors updated and engaged* Reviewing and communicating vendor promotions to CAS*What you bring to the table:** A contagious personality with a knack for conversation, persuasion, and influence that will shine from the first interaction with our team* Analytical, organized, attention to detail, ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment* Meticulous in your ability to review, offer context to written data, and provide solutions to complications which may arise* Strong written and verbal communication skills that display your charismatic personality* Ability to evaluate when and how your charisma will need to shine in your day-to-day tasks.* Knowledge of supply chain an asset*Required Skills:** Analytical and Problem-solving skills allowing for proactive identification of gaps, potential solutions, and areas of opportunity* Team player, with strong communication skills via phone, email, in-person, and an ability to exert influence where necessary (English - both written and oral)* Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently* Proven ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively with a high sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment* Accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail in all areas of work* Good organizational, time management, multitasking and prioritizing skills* Proficient in the use of excel and google sheets - most of your day will be spent using these applications!* Knowledge of supply chain and inventory methodologies and principles would be an asset.*Ask your interviewer for more detailsPlease read the qualifications and the tasks carefully before applying.
