About the role
Hybrid | Full-time | Entry Level
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as a member of multidisciplinary teams using data science and machine learning techniques.
- Address day-to-day bugs in backend systems and databases.
- Create and execute unit tests, integration tests, and other testing strategies to maintain software quality and reduce the need to address day-to-day bugs.
- Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity.
- Deploy and test applications in cloud environments using AWS and Azure platforms.
- Contribute to the development of intelligent solutions by integrating machine learning functionalities into systems.
- Bring new ideas to the table and unleash your creativity to solve current and future challenges.
- Collaborate on existing projects with the Data Science research teams, as well as define and tackle your own project.
- Collaborate with a high-performing, diverse team of individuals.
- Quickly adapt to new tasks and assignments as development continues.
About you :
- E xperience with Python and Python web development (Django).
- Be comfortable working with a remote team that is based in Toronto/Montreal.
- Excellence in oral and written communication.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or has completed a technical degree such as computer science or engineering.
Physical Demands:
- Conduct general office work at a desk , which includes periodic sedentary responsibilities .
