Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Office Manager at the Nipissing Community Legal Clinic. Position: Office Manager Contract Duration: 6 months leave contract, starting May 1st, with the possibility of extension The Nipissing Community Legal Clinic is a poverty law clinic serving low income residents of the District of Nipissing. We believe in equal access to justice and strive to empower our clients through advocacy and representation. Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to financial management – examples: Canada Revenue Agency and Legal Aid Ontario requirements, etc. Meets requirements related to payroll, employee benefits, RRSPs, government taxes, etc. Manage day-to-day office operations and coordinate clinic activities Perform bookkeeping tasks and maintain financial records, Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), as well as case information management systems Familiarity with human resource management and bookkeeping principles If you are ready to take on a rewarding challenge and contribute to our mission of serving vulnerable populations, please submit your resume and cover letter to the attention of Stuart Bailey, Executive Director, via email at [email protected] In your cover letter, please highlight your relevant experience and why you are passionate about working with our organization.
