XNRGY Climate Systems is a North American leader in sustainable design and advanced manufacturing of custom air treatment systems focused on research and energy development contributing to the reduction of carbon footprint. XNRGY is seeking a qualified Purchasing Manager to oversee the company's procurement of products and services. The Purchasing Manager's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, developing strategies to find new sources of supply, strengthening relationships with existing suppliers while meeting cost reduction goals. The purchasing manager's mission is to analyze and implement the best ways to reduce procurement and logistics expenses so that the company can support its growth. The manager will report to the Executive Vice President of Product and Manufacturing Strategy.

An overview of your responsibilities:

• Implement and utilize innovative procurement strategies;
• Expand the supplier base and establish commercial and organizational partnerships for all factories;
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain advantageous terms;
• Monitor and report on key functional measures (KPIs) to reduce costs and improve the efficiency of the purchasing department;
• Approve orders for goods and services within authorized limits;
• Finalize order and delivery details;
• Review and/or write contracts;
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure clarity of specifications and company expectations.
• Anticipate favorable or unfavorable events by analyzing data and preparing control strategies and contingency plans;
• Manage risks related to procurement contracts and agreements;
• Control expenses and establish a long-term cost-saving culture for procurement costs.
