Are you ready to design your future? Be our next Senior Mechanical Engineer. In this role, you will be a part of the Mining team, based in the Sudbury office. Understanding of project mission, including Client requirements. # Checking of 3D models and drawings developed by others. # Troubleshoot, analyze, identify, evaluate, propose engineering solutions. # Establish continuous improvement plans where efficiency, quality, safety, or service can be improved. # Provide support to our systems and tools including the Bentley Suite of software (OpenPlant Modeler, OpenPlant P&ID). # Provide regular feedback to the Overall Mechanical Engineering Lead on progress with the preparation of deliverables. # Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. ~6 years relevant experience with engineering/design deliverables in an industrial setting. ~ Experience in consulting engineering is preferred. ~ Design experience, preferably in the consulting industry, (preference will be given to those candidates with experience in Mineral Mining projects). ~ Knowledge of mining and bulk material handling (crushing, grinding, screening, conveying, flotation and tailings). ~ Sound understanding of design, engineering codes and technical standards. ~ Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, products. AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience required. ~ Extensive knowledge in engineering standards, codes and guidelines and engineering systems coordination. ~ Knowledge of mining-related processes a definite asset. ~ Willing and able to travel for short durations to various global project offices or site is considered an asset. #
