Strum is currently looking to expand our services and looking for a Senior Environmental Scientist to join our Environmental Assessment and Approvals team, in Halifax, NS. A day in your life at Strum: Engage in delivering services to key clients such as project planning and management, environmental assessment, public engagement, and regulatory support. Conduct and manage technical projects for clients on behalf of Strum.Conduct technical report writing.Assign, assist and monitor staff on field projects. Develop methodologies, organize field programs, and coordinate logistics needed for a team to conduct those programs efficiently.Carry out field work such as baseline surveys (wildlife, flora, and fauna), sample collection, and monitoring.Prepare client deliverables such as analytical tables, technical reports, estimates, and proposals following our quality standards.Communicate with other staff, clients, and regulatory agencies.Adhere to health, safety and environment policies, safe work practices, procedures, and guidelines in the execution of all work.
