Job Description

Fortinet seeks a Cloud Business Development Manager to support the sales for Cloud Security products in the Central Canada region. A Cloud-BDM is a senior sales person with technical background, part of a specialized team, who will work as a business advisor for the local channel and accounts teams. The Cloud BDM engages in strategic deals where his knowledge of cloud architecture will affect the reach of Fortinet solution, bring to our customer a more broaden approach to their security needs. The Cloud BDM works alongside with peer field channel, account teams, and channel partners that may be involved, throughout the sales process. The Cloud BDM is expect to shape the positive outcome of customer engagements such as presentations, meetings while showing the benefits of the proposed cloud security architecture. This role offers high visibility to senior management, networking across corporate teams as well as the opportunity to shape the business and the direction of our cloud security products.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a Business Plan for the Central region and Public Cloud Providers
  • Develop a Go to Market for Central region and Public Cloud Providers
  • Make a deep dive in the Public Cloud Provider areas and to connect them with Fortinet team
  • Develop a Win-Win strategy between Public Cloud Provider and Fortinet team
  • Develop solutions that will accelerate the Cloud Consumption
  • Develop a market campaign to the target business
  • Conduct dedicated training and communications for Public Cloud Provider, Channel Partners and Fortinet teams
  • Align the Fortinet strategy with the Public Cloud Provider in order to have the right solutions orchestrated
  • Organize executive meetings to have all companies engaged with the Plan
  • Travels within assigned territory is required

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years technology selling experience managing sales
  • Knowledge in Public Cloud architecture
  • Knowledge in Application Security
  • Knowledge in Cloud Sales
  • Portuguese or Spanish speaking is desired
  • Existing relationship with Public Cloud Providers is desired
  • Passion to make the difference when making presentations or leading executive meetings
  • Teamwork as a daily rule
  • 2+ years selling thru the Marketplace and Private Offers

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, MBA preferred
  • Cybersecurity background
