Whitecap is actively seeking a Project Manager with a background of success and hands-on experience managing software projects . The successful candidate will lead Whitecap project teams on the design, development and implementation of web based business systems for clients across a variety of industries. We also do a large number of projects using Microsoft technologies including custom .NET based development, Azure, Dynamics 365, Power Platform and SharePoint. You must possess the ability to interact effectively with end users, management, and other team members and can work without close supervision and handle multiple assignments concurrently. A stakeholder focused strategic business partner, managing a portfolio of key projects and programs, fully vested in project and client success, simultaneously handling projects of widely varying sizes and complexity. Developing, tracking, and managing project budgets, work plans, timelines and scope Maintaining ongoing clear lines of communication with all project stakeholders, especially clients and project sponsors Ensuring client expectations and quality standards are met for all project deliverables Direct supervision of creative design, development and quality assurance staff On occasion, taking a hands-on role in actual systems definition and delivery activities, especially in the areas of requirements analysis, systems design and quality assurance. At least five years of progressive experience in project/program management and implementing project management methodologies and tools. Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing and presentation skills, with a confident manner and demonstrable experience gaining credibility with business partners. Strong organizational, planning, influencing and conflict management skills. Solid understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Demonstrated experience working with senior management. Proficiency with MS Office and project management tools such as MS Project and Azure DevOps. Familiarity with software development lifecycle and the software tools and technologies we typically use in our business (.NET, SQL, HTML, C#, Angular, React, JavaScript)
