The Associate Manager, Talent Development supports our training initiatives and talent development programs for the industrial organization. This role will be responsible for the development of training plans nationally for the assigned client group, managing industrial-specific training initiatives, sourcing and managing vendor relationships, oversee optimization of digital learning management systems, and providing support for various talent management initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training and development, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. the development of the annual training plan nationally for our industrial sites, collaborating closely with various HR team members to ensure accurate and up-to-date completion and tracking of training initiatives. This includes coordinating the Training Plan with plant HR and handling administrative tasks that support training execution. the development, design and execution of various industrial talent development programs, including head office sponsored programs for Plants; STEP Program, NAIA Program, Cheese Academy & Maintenance Academy, I2FA, including linking attendance with succession planning and talent development strategies as well as management of logistics such as hotels, bus rental, meals, etc. matter expert managing two digital learning management systems, Alchemy and Learning Factory, building strategies for maximizing usage and impact of self-guided learning offerings across Canada. of annual learning plans aligned to development needs identified in succession planning, status reports, and troubleshooting. Tuition Reimbursement program and policy governance. compliance against completion of mandatory training for Canada providing status updates and completion strategies. invoice tracking and payment for local and head office training initiatives, as well as for other Organizational Development (OD) initiatives, ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial transactions. management – tracking KPIs for reporting and recommending strategies for achieving targets related to training usage and organizational impact. engagement surveys, ad-hoc tasks, and projects as assigned. Degree or Diploma in fields related to Human Resources Management, or Business Commerce. to 7 years of experience in Human Resources or Training. in or working with a manufacturing environment is a strong asset. designation or working towards is an asset. Packaged Goods or food industry experience an asset. to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy while adhering to policies and handling confidential information. in standard office computer technology, including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet research skills, and SAP R3. to collaborate and build relationships with cross-functional teams to identify training needs and opportunities for continuous improvement. current and adaptable to industry trends and best practices in training and talent development. strong organizational and time management skills. in English is required. Bilingual proficiency in English and French is advantageous.
