With over 100 years of collective experience, our inpatient, outpatient, and online programs are offered across the country, providing essential compassionate care to patients wherever they are. a new 60-bed inpatient addictions treatment facility, located about 20 minutes northwest of Regina and will provide adults 18 and older with holistic, wrap-around inpatient addictions treatment for up to 16 weeks. The cook is responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to recipes and quality standards. This position requires knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and equipment, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of cleanliness and food safety. Monitor food temperatures and ensure that all dishes are cooked to the appropriate level of completion. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times, including proper handling and storage of ingredients, as well as regular cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management when supplies need to be replenished. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain a smooth flow of operations during busy periods. Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by the head chef or kitchen manager. Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required. Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or food service establishment. Knowledge of cooking techniques and culinary terminology. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
