Mircom/Gardia Ltd. is currently seeking dedicated professionals with strong technical skills for our Fire alarm Preventive Maintenance and Verification departments. Candidates must have working experience in the Fire Alarm field with a strong work ethic and eagerness for growth while maintaining fire safety for our clients.
Responsibilities for Senior/Lead fire alarm Technician:
- Inspection and maintenance of fire alarm systems, emergency lights and fire extinguishers and fire hoses.
- Trouble shooting various fire alarm-based issues.
- Verification of fire alarm systems.
- Completing inspection reports and preparing deficiency list.
- Availability to work variable hours, weekends and/or "on-call" shifts as necessary to meet customer requirements.
- Mentoring and training junior technicians.
Qualifications and Skills:
- CFAA Certification
- Knowledge of related codes and standards including CAN/ULC S536-04 and CAN/ULC S537-04
- Ability to communicate with clients and coworkers
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in word, excel based software.
- Looking for long term position
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
