IMT PROJECT COORDINATOR:
($56,796.62 - $65,740.30 Annually)
POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Project Coordinator provides administrative support for all IT projects managed by the Project Delivery Team including project coordination, contract administration, documents preparation and information tracking. The position facilitates communications between various stakeholders ensuring all parties are aligned on project timelines, budgets, and deliverables. The position supports the team on project accounting activities and the development of procurement tendering documents.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
The successful candidate will have the following:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Diploma in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Sound experience in project management.
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience acceptable to the employer
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Considerable project management knowledge
- Good problem-solving, analytical, organizational and time management skills
- Good communication and presentation skill
- Ability to present information clearly and concisely
- Ability to coordinate assignments and projects involving consultation with staff and external groups, meet deadlines and identify key milestones or measures of success
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with all levels of staff
- Ability to manage changing timelines and multiple deliverables
- Ability to learn and apply BC Housing's procurement and contract policies
- Ability to manage team resources, track and organise project information and pay attention to details
