Were seeking a meticulous and dedicated Accounting Manager with full cycle accounting experience to join our established and continually growing client in the Truro, Nova Scotia area. This is a permanent, in-office opportunity.
The successful candidate will manage and oversee all accounting and financial functions within a project-based construction environment and contribute establishing solid processes and practices for the department going forward.
Experience & Attributes for Success:
- Post-secondary education in business or accounting at the college or university level
- CPA Designation is an asset
- 5+ years experience in a full cycle accounting role
- Proficiency with Sage50 software is a definite asset
- Independent worker with strong multi-tasking abilities
- Dependable and adaptable (willingness to pitch-in where needed)
- Above average organizational and time management skills
