As a Senior Financial Analyst/ Accountant with the Corporate Finance Group, you will report to the Corporate Controller and be responsible for preparing financial reports and assisting with quarterly forecasts and the annual plan for the Klohn Crippen Berger ("KCB") Group of Companies. KCB Group has offices and subsidiaries and projects located around the globe.
This role will give you the opportunity to:
- showcase your accounting expertise and maintain the integrity of the financials
- manage daily cash operations across multiples currencies and banks
- oversee cash flow forecasts and optimize cash management policies
- supervise the accounting assistant and provide constructive guidance and feedback
- utilize your analytical skills and attention to detail detect and correct inconsistencies
- contribute to insightful financial analysis and to support business leaders
- prepare and compile data for annual industry surveys in a timely manner
- collaborate with the audit team and provide support for documentation
- add value to the business by preparing ad-hoc reports with project analysis
- build strong relationships with the finance team and business units accountants
- support the ERP implementation to ensure a smooth transition and integration
We value your:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum 8 years of combined public practice and industry accounting experience
- Experience in working with multiple currencies and global operations
- Experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff
- Experience in an engineering or professional services industry (desirable)
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerBI and accounting software (BST or similar)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written English communication (with ability to speak Spanish an asset)
The salary for this position is $90,000 to $115,000 per year. Salary is based on applicable experience, education, and skill level.
