What you're passionate about

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Network and Security Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology with a strong background in network and security technologies, including Palo Alto firewalls , Cisco networks , F5 load balancers , VMware , Azure networking, and Cybersecurity best practices . This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining network and security infrastructure to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems.

A typical day for the Network & Security Analyst

  • Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless controllers and access points, RADIUS services, Azure virtual networks, WAN connections, and load balancers.
  • Manage Palo Alto firewalls to protect our network perimeter and adjust firewall rules, and administer and troubleshoot remote access VPN clients, portals, and gateways.
  • Monitor network traffic and security logs in coordination with the security team to detect and respond to security incidents.
  • Collaborate with other infrastructure team members and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and remediate network and security issues.
  • Configure and manage F5 load balancers to optimize application delivery.
  • Work with VMware virtualization technologies to ensure efficient and secure virtual networks, including Site Recovery Manager based failover and replication.
  • Design and implement Azure networking solutions, including virtual networks, subnets, ExpressRoute, and Site to Site VPN.
  • Remediate known security issues and proactively improve overall security posture.
  • Manage and implement the Enterprise Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), certificate templates, and SSL certificates.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, policies, and procedures.
  • Submit formalized change tickets and work with change management to ensure change processes are adhered to.
  • Work on assigned tickets from the IT Service Management system.
  • Support infrastructure team operations, including working monthly weekend change windows when required.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for infrastructure incidents after hours.

What you bring

  • Technical diploma or degree in Information Technology with a focus on networking and security, or equivalent related education and/or experience.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Network and Security Analyst or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls , Cisco networks , and F5 load balancers .
  • Experience with VMware virtualization technologies.
  • Familiarity with Azure networking and security .
  • Industry certifications such as Microsoft Azure related, CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE, or CISSP are a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to effectively troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven passion for technology.
