FULL TIME PROBATIONARY GRADE 1 TEACHER

Stettler Elementary School is a dynamic Pre-K to Grade 6 school with approximately 600 students located in Stettler, Alberta. Applications are being accepted for a full time Grade 1 teaching position beginning August 27, 2024.

The successful applicant will be a student focused teacher with experience working in a collaborative environment in order to develop interventions and differentiated instructional activities to meet the needs of all students. Candidates must have experience in creating and delivering engaging and evidence-based literacy and numeracy instruction.

Stettler Elementary School has a small school family atmosphere yet is able to provide students with large school opportunities. We have exceptional teachers who are caring and create safe learning environments. Applicants with a passion, knowledge and experience in nurturing responsible and caring citizens will be seriously considered for this position.

By virtue of the submission of an application, the applicant agrees that the Supervisor can contract references prior to the interview as well as contact previous employers for the purpose of conducting confidential reference checks whether or not the applicant has listed a reference for that employer. Successful candidates will be required to provide a current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector prior to employment commencing.
