This full-time position within the Association is housed at the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario'sElm Street location inSudbury. Under the leadership of the Program Supervisor, the Job Developer liaises with local employers, both public and private sector, and participants from various programs and services to ensure optimum job placement results while maintaining YMCA values. Promote YMCA service programs and clients directly to employers using a structured marketing approach (i.e. prospecting, needs analysis, selling, follow-up) via cold calls, appointments, personal contacts, networking, direct mail, and advertising Job Developers must make a crucial link between job seeker and local business community Develop training plans College diploma or University degree in marketing, Business, Social Sciences or related field Solid knowledge of community resources Ability to research and develop workshops and community presentations Valid G class driver's license and access to a vehicle Discounts for day camps and recreational programs, summer camp and licensed child care for toddlers up to school-age Extended Health and Dental Care Program that includes coverage for Vision and Professional Services such as those performed by Dieticians, Chiropractors, Massage Therapists, Psychologists, Naturopaths, and more!
