Description: Senior Business Development Director

In this role you will be responsible for the development and expansion of new business opportunities within established accounts and prospective clients by providing leadership for overall business planning. You will liaise between the client and Company on all sales activities and requirements to expand the Company's visibility, name recognition, and professional credibility in the market.

Experience & Minimum Requirements

  1. Bachelor's Degree in a business, science, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience selling services in a CRO / pharmaceutical / biotechnology / life sciences industry, with expert knowledge of the clinical research process and requirements.
  3. Experience with proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing a contract.
  4. Serve as a champion of continuous process improvement within the department, to bring efficiencies and best practices to the organization through the design and implementation of new or updated procedures or workflows.
  5. Serve as a leader, point of mentorship, and point of escalation for more junior members of the Sales team.
