Canadian individual income tax return preparation for U.Assist in carrying out cross-border income tax planning and engagement Deliver industry and technical expertise relating to Canadian and U.S. individual income tax, social security and international tax treaties through client interactions, reports, technical work, management presentations and high-quality deliverables S. individual income tax policy and tax changes Correspond with clients and various government agencies to address client tax compliance issues Prepare correspondence, technical reports, client summaries and presentations outlining engagement findings, facts and highlights Collaborate with client engagement team prior to commencement of client work to discuss roles and responsibilities, risk areas, materiality and deadlines Be part of the engagement teams, developing effective relationships with clients while coaching and mentoring junior team members Bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration (accounting or finance major is preferred) ~ 1 year of relevant public accounting or tax experience ~ S. individual and income tax ~ Experience working with accounting and tax software With a focus on high-potential earnings, MNP is proud to offer customized rewards that support our unique culture and a balanced lifestyle to thrive at work and outside of the office.
