TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is partnered with one of the most trusted names within the HVAC space They are looking for a new Logistics Specialist to work as apart of their Sales Support team. This person will be working with their carriers and vendors to communicate and deal with shipping issues. Logistics Specialist The basic function of this Sales Support Logistics Specialist is to work with the outside sales team and support them in the following functions: • Liaise with freight brokers to obtain the most cost-effective means of shipping product on behalf of the Collaborate with sales team to estimate freight costs on tendered projects. • Coordinate delivery details with customers on each delivery to ensure the customer has the necessary limited to, determining what equipment is available to offload product, obtaining site contact information for the carrier, determining any restrictions in terms of available delivery times, and educating customer on proper receiving techniques and processes. • Respond promptly to lost or damaged shipments, process freight insurance claims. • A background in freight logistics, 1-3 years or more experience in directly related field is preferred. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer. • Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean abstract • High school graduate with post- secondary education preferred.
