Senior Manager, Retention Marketing EF Educational Tours Full-Time Starting Date: March 2024 Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (Opportunity to work in-office 3 days a week and from home 2 days a week. This is not a remote role .)

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Retention Marketing to join our marketing team and help us build long-lasting relationships with our customers. As the leader of the Retention team, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of how we build, grow and maintain relationships with a variety of audiences by developing our strategies and roadmap. You will use your expertise in email marketing, customer journey development, and loyalty marketing to create personalized experiences that drive customer loyalty and advocacy.

What You'll Do:

  • Work closely with the Senior Director of Marketing and Creative to develop and implement a comprehensive retention strategy to increase customer loyalty and lifetime value, customer engagement, and reducing churn.
  • Lead a team of two providing guidance, coaching and development opportunities.
  • Craft and hone our messaging and marketing through lifecycle campaigns that elevates our category leadership.
  • Lead the redesign of our loyalty program to reward, incentive repeat purchase and build stickiness with our most valuable audiences.
  • Be a thought-leader and collaborator with the cross functional marketing teams to create campaigns, content and promotions that resonate with our existing customer base.
  • In partnership with the email automation manager and analytics team, develop segmentation to improve targeting and personalization to meet objectives working with data to create models as needed.
  • In collaboration with the email automation manager, develop ways to build campaigns in the most efficient way possible to allow for personalization and future product expansion.
  • Work closely with sales, product, and the customer service team to address feedback and improve the overall customer experience.
  • Analyze marketing campaign performance and trends; understand & communicate effectiveness and ROI.
  • In partnership with Marketing leadership, develop presentations and reports as needed outlining goals, success measures and results of campaigns.
  • Collaborate with marketing, creative, product, and insights peers to develop integrated marketing strategies and scale supporting technology and processes.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B retention/lifecycle marketing, email marketing and loyalty marketing.
  • 1-2 years managing a team directly or indirectly.
  • Proven ability to drive customer engagement and activation.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset to drive decision making.
  • Experience developing customers journeys and mapping customer touchpoints for different audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve complex problems into thoughtful strategies and communications.
  • Skilled communicator who can translate product benefits into clear value propositions for a variety of audiences.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation, email marketing tools and platforms such as Mailchimp, Adobe or Salesforce is preferred.
