Robert Half is recruiting for an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer for our Calgary Client. As the successful candidate for the role, you will be accountable for the test automation framework, creating and managing test suites, and test cases on multiple application platforms (Web, Mobile and Desktop). You have strong experience and ability in full-stack development and scripting background experience in a cloud-based environment. This role is based in Calgary, AB., but is open to hybrid remote work permissions for eligible candidates.

Job Requirements:

MUST HAVES:

1. 5 + years proven working experience in similar role with ability to lead and mentor a small team of QA Automation Engineers
2. Proficient experience with writing and executing manual and test automation scripts to evaluate the functionality and performance of user interfaces and APIs
3. Extensive experience in functional programming languages such as Ruby, Java/JavaScript, C#, Python etc.
4. In-depth working experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber, WebDriverIO)
5. Proven working knowledge and ability with REST API testing tools, such as Postman and SoapUI as well as designing and building API and Data driven testing frameworks
6. Solid working ability with load and performance testing processes and frameworks
7. Top notch analytical skills and attention to detail
8. Solid ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within a cross functional team environment
9. Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
10. ISTQB, CSTE or equivalent certification(s) are a definite plus
11. Knowledge of and experience with Azure DevOps is an asset
12. Bilingual (Spanish) is desirable
